* Contracting HPV does not mean promiscuous. You need only one sexual contact with an infected with the virus. Obviously, the more you participate in frequent and unsafe sexual practices, the greater the chance that you will eventually come into contact with HPV, or any number of other sexually transmitted diseases.

Thus, the logical solution is to always practice safe sex, especially if you have a new sexual partner. Not only latex condoms prevent you from symptoms of human papilloma virus and other sexually transmitted diseases, it will help you avoid unwanted pregnancy.

* HPV treatment for genital warts are not a panacea. Even if the warts are gone, you still have the virus, which means that you can infect a sexual partner at any stage, now or in the future.

* The HPV vaccine is believed to prevent all recognized strains of HPV that can lead to cervical cancer in women. However, this does not guarantee the prevention of cervical cancer in girls and women who were sexually active before vaccination.

* The jury is about the uncircumcised men are more often carriers of the virus. Although a number of studies, production statistics, which offer partners uncircumcised men are at greater risk of infection by strains of HPV that cause cervical cancer, many doctors consider imperfect statistics.
